Here in Somerset the Spring sunshine has been somewhat elusive, however I have managed whenever possible to take the opportunity to get out and about around our beautiful county.

A recent walk around High Ham to see the Stembridge Windmill revealed hedgerows full of Cherry Plum Blossom, Magnolia Trees bursting with the brightest pink blooms, and patches of pretty, soft lemony, Primroses with the promise that Spring is doing her best to make her presence felt. I hope you are seeing or feeling similar signs in your own neighbourhoods.

Back in the studio I have been kept busy with your orders ( with sincere Thanks for continuing to choose my work), the new Easter designs have been very well received both online and in my latest ventures - as Guest Artist at a lovely local Gallery - One Craft (High Street, Shepton Mallet, Somerset), and a fabulous new shop in Langport where you can find 15 talented South West Makers all under one roof (Bow Street Langport, Somerset)

Behind the scenes I am now preparing work for my first big show of the season as I am looking forward to heading back to Powderham Castle for the floral feast that is Toby's Garden Festival, and then four days under canvas at Chippenham's fantastic Folk Festival (details for both are on my Events page). 

I am also in the process of setting up broader shipping profiles so I can supply my Stems and Decos to your lovely homes around the world (I am currently set up for USA, and Canada) and I am planning on migrating my online store to a new provider as unfortunately I have found issues with this site that I am struggling to get resolved (please ignore the banner at the top of my website - I am currently in dialogue to try and get this removed as a matter of priority -and is in part why my store will be relocating!). Change is often for the better so I am embracing this challenge as I plan for the next season and will of course keep you fully updated with the process.
